OVERVIEW: Hawaii Kai planned community was developed by Henry J. Kaiser, the renowned industrialist, steel tycoon whose shipbuilding empire produced 1,500 vessels during World War II. Since its development in the 1960's, Hawaii Kai has become one of the premier suburbs of Oahu. Koko Crater - is the tallest massive tuff crater and one of the dominant natural landmark in the area. The tuft volcano is 1,207 feet in height and within the crater is a horse stables and a City & County of Honolulu botanical garden that specializes in cacti and succulents.

Hanauma Bay - one of the favorite family destination, this is a result of 2 volcanic craters tuff cone breached by
the ocean. Designated as a State Underwater Park & Conservation District, it is popular with swimmers, snorkelers and picnickers.

Maunaloa Bay - suited for boating, canoe paddling or water skiing

NEIGHBORHOODS: Hawaii Kai area include but not limited to Anchorage, Kalama Valley, Kamehame Ridge, Koko Head Terrace, Koko Kai, Mariners Ridge, Napali Haweo, Portlock, Queens Gate, Triangle and West Marina.
